According to the Georgia Department of Education, the Georgia Milestones End-of-Course (EOC) mathematics does not require the use of a calculator. “Currently, there are no items on the test that require a calculator. All items involving computation may be solved by the student using a standard algorithm.”

Grayson High School will not be issuing hand held calculators during the assessment. However, students may utilize their own calculators from the list of Georgia DOE calculators. These include TI 83, TI 84 (or similar models), or TI30XS.
If a student does not have a personal calculator, the following may be rented from Grayson High School Media Center for the remainder of the school year for a cost of:
$5 - TI30XS
$10 - TI 83/TI 84
Online Scientific calculators are available within the online testing system and are supplemented with the Online Graphing Tool for Section 1, Part B, and Section 2 of the Coordinate Algebra, Analytic Geometry, Algebra I, and Geometry assessments. The online calculator is available to all students use during the EOC.

It is highly recommended that ALL students PRACTICE using the EOC online calculator in the weeks prior to the assessment event.
